Homemaking is.....

... managing a household. Overseeing the day to day concerns of a household. Home organisation, designing and maintaining a home are just few aspects of homemaking. Housework is a never ending task, but it's not just about cleaning, cooking, washing, or all the 'ings' of domestic work, it's about keeping a home a place of security, comfort, love and peace. A zone where you can be yourself.

Though each home is different, there is no duplicating your home from anyone. Each home is designed on values, beliefs, attitudes and lifestyle of each member, therefore, your home is a representation of your family.

Homemaking originated since Genesis time when God created woman (Eve) and makes her the first homemaker. Another robust example of biblical concept of a homemaker is Proverbs 31. It's detailing the peculiarity of a virtuous wife. Homemaking is a role for women. For that reason homemaking is also a calling.

I strongly believe that not everyone is called for greatness. I decline the saying of you can be anything you want.  What I believe is you can be the best of you can be. We are given a repertoire of skills or talents to reinforce us in reaching the best version of ourselves. We merely ignore it because where up to something we're not meant to.

Homemaking is hard work. You need strength physically to complete the chores done and emotionally to face the demands of motherhood and being a better half. It is not a 9-5 job. No time in or timeout. It's a round the clock, 24/7 and always on-call duty. Rewards are pure joy and love. Hugs and kisses by those little munchkins.

Homemaking is a big part in a woman. But now in this busy world things had changed. Women got so busy. They are now facing a world 15th or 18th century women never thought of. They are now more empowered. Busy working women in millennial era. Househusband we're born. Homemakers are not just for women now. Homemaking is now also open for men. Really??? Yes it is,  depends on couples financial abilities. Who gets to bring the bacon more? it's for the couple to decide who will take the role. Yet there are also couple who works both. Everything depends on their familys' circumstances.

A homemaker is a very important role. Before we became who we are, we'd been under the care of one. Homemaking is a never ending journey. In every success, in every fall they are always our to go to. A homemaker is our refuge. They give us warmth and comfort. After a stressful day it is always good to know that you are coming HOME....

And so homemaking is ...

My Pantry

Hello guys! I just want to share with you how I organized my kitchen pantry. Before my pantry is a disaster! It’s so hard for me to find what I’m looking for and most of the time I’m buying things that I still have. So, to save time, money and energy I’ve decided to organize my pantry. I’ve searched through the internet and come up with this ideas that is super efficient.
I got this storage turntable at K-mart for $5 each. I placed all my syrups and spreads, some baking ingredients, herbs and spices and all my sauces. Voila! So easy to find what you need and it’s really fun turning it around. I also got this two tier small drawers where my oats and pocket meals we’re nicely put in place.I usually take them out of the box and drop it there. It’s wired so you can see everything inside. I also love the wire baskets also from K-mart which my husband hooked it at the pantry wall. In here I put all my veggies that I don’t want to store inside the fridge. Like my garlic, onions, tomatoes, potatoes  and all stuffs like that. Everything that doesn’t go inside the fridge goes there. It’s $6 each and I got three of them. Another from Kmart is my three tier shelf where you can put all your can goods according to sizes so you can clearly see everything without forgetting whats in the back.
I also bought some items at Ikea. The clear plastic storage was all from Ikea. They come with different sizes. I just chose according to what will I put on them. I just printed the labels and stick  it. I can clearly see if I’m running out of anything and write it down on my grocery list for my next shopping. I also got this foldable plastic basket where all my plastic grocery bags we’re kept. My stepping stool is also from Ikea. I’m keeping it inside the pantry so whenever we need it inside the house I know where to get it. You can also use it as storage you can place anything on top because it’s so sturdy.
My colorful yellow and blue baskets we’re all from Masters. I just love them! And If I’m not mistaken I got them for only less than $3 each. All the big stuffs goes there. Juices, sodas, boxed items, all my dried ingredients, almost everything goes to them. I just put labels on the front to know whats inside. They got different colors so you can play with whatever colors you like. I just so love looking at them whenever I’m opening my pantry.
The clear shoe organizer is from ebay. My daughter bought it for me. She said it’s a gift from her. I just so, so love it! All the small stuffs that most of the time freaking me out  because I can’t find it is now on my view.
Now opening my pantry is amazing! The clutters we’re all gone. Everything on it’s place and it makes me feel happy. It just needs you to be a little more creative to find what you need and what prefers you.  Organizing is fun! This is how I do my pantry I also want to hear yours! Let’s share things and have fun! Enjoy life!
